Chess Tournament Hosted By Kneighborhood Knightz
Time & Location
About the Event
Chess is an ancient game and was only offered to be played by princes and kings, in order to learn strategy, wit, forward thinking, focus, and honor. Many of us have learned to play the game but few of us realize all of the benefits from chess, dominoes, D & D, video games, mobile games and all types of competitive games. It's to make us sharper and come together. People that play chess together can respect each other and will rarely commit violence against the person.
We will play each game on the 5 minute clock. Feel free to bring your set, clock and a folding table. We ask for a $5 donation from each player and/or member. First time guests and free. We also have tutors for people who want to learn. All ages.
After one hour, we will tally the games won, list them all on the television as we are playing. The top 4 winners will play a championship round. The winner of each game will then play for the final championship and 1 will hopefully be crowned a winner. The winner get bragging rights, some free meals, during the following week, and a small purse as the booty.
